G&G has launched Circle Compadres, a venture philanthropy initiative designed and run by the family’s next generation.

Circle Compadres gives the family’s rising generation direct ownership over new giving and impact-investment decisions, rather than a consultative role in decisions made elsewhere. Members source, vet and back causes and early-stage impact ventures themselves, applying the same negative-screening principles and Social Alpha discipline used across the wider family office, but with full latitude to back the ideas that matter most to them.

The initiative sits within G&G Charitable Trust and is a direct extension of a practice that has long been part of family life: bringing the next generation into rooms where real decisions are made, rather than introducing them to a finished strategy after the fact.

“Legacy is not etched in stone. It is woven into the lives of others.”

Circle Compadres is now reviewing its first cohort of causes and ventures, with initial commitments expected later this year.
